Every Picker — One Consistent Layout
  • The Classic Wheel’s rebuilt settings panel is now on every picker on the site — the same tabbed card, in the same place, whichever tool you open
  • Every picker shows its result the same way: a winner card below the stage, with Save card and Share link together
  • The card only offers a “go again” button where the tool’s own start button disappears after a spin — no more two buttons doing the same job
  • The winner pop-up is off by default everywhere — the winner appears on the page instead. Switch it back on per tool in Settings
  • The fairness receipt sits behind the shield icon on every picker, so you can show any result was drawn fairly
  • Fullscreen is available on every tool, from the button beside the title
Fullscreen
  • The stage no longer jumps when the winner appears. Wheels, dice and boards stay still from the first spin through to the result
  • The wheel is properly centred in fullscreen instead of sitting off to one side
  • Fixed several pickers that showed a narrow, phone-width panel in fullscreen — and narrowed further the moment a winner was announced
  • The fullscreen button is easier to hit, and the exit × is legible on every theme
  • Panels and lists that made no sense in fullscreen are now hidden while you are in it
Individual Tools
  • Team Generator — settings rebuilt into one compact panel, plus a fairness receipt for the team split, entry import, A–Z and Z–A sorting, and a reset
  • Dice Roll — settings split into Faces, Appearance and Settings tabs, and each face’s label can now be edited directly in the Faces tab
  • Comment pickers (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X/Twitter, retweet) — fairness receipts added, Copy moved into the winner card, and a working Reset
  • Giveaway Wheel — an optional winner pop-up for announcing a draw to an audience, off by default
  • Sports pickers (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Premier League, cricket, IPL, PSL, FIFA) — the player now wears team kit colours instead of a black silhouette
  • Hogwarts House Picker — a daytime castle in light mode, and the house is announced once rather than twice
  • Planet Picker — Saturn’s and Uranus’s rings are no longer clipped
  • Random Number Generator, Bingo Caller, Maths Practice Spinner, Random Date Picker and Colour Picker — brought in line with the shared layout
Entries & Lists
  • Import entries now works on every tool that offers it — it was doing nothing on ten pages
  • Reset added to the tools that were missing it, and removed where there was nothing to reset
  • Share links switched on for the Hogwarts and Planet pickers
Readability & Themes
  • Text across the winner card, settings panel and headings now meets accessibility contrast standards in light, dark and high-contrast modes
  • Fixed pale text on dark backgrounds in several places, including the “Again” button on the winner card
  • Fullscreen now uses one flat background colour per theme instead of a floating grey panel
Security
  • Sign-in and account actions are now protected against cross-site request forgery
  • Deleting or duplicating a saved list now requires a confirmed submission rather than a plain link
  • Session cookies are marked secure, so they are only ever sent over HTTPS
Fixes
  • Removed buttons that did nothing — dead controls were showing on dozens of pages
  • Fixed sort and clear buttons that could not be reached on some pickers
  • The winner card no longer stays on screen through the next spin
  • Long results no longer overflow or scroll inside the winner card
  • Fixed artwork that failed to appear on several pickers
  • The “Open Full Classic Wheel” prompt has been removed from the tools that had it

Classic Wheel — Rebuilt Control Panel
  • Advanced settings are now one card with three tabs — Entries, Appearance and Settings — instead of one long scroll
  • Entries: add entries inline, drag to reorder, shuffle, and sort A–Z or Z–A
  • Each entry has its own settings for icon, background image and weighting
  • Appearance: pick a wheel theme from mini previews, and set border, font, text size, bold, text colour, centre logo and background image
  • The simple view is unchanged — paste a list and spin
  • The wheel now sits in view when the page opens, with the intro text moved below it
Removed
  • Auto-download after spin — the “Download image (PNG)” and “Record GIF” checkboxes have been removed from every tool. A spin no longer saves a file automatically; use Save card on the winner to download it when you want it
  • Slice icons are no longer added automatically from guesswork. Icons are off by default, and when switched on they only appear where the entry name is an exact match
Fixes
  • Reset no longer changes your site theme — dark mode stays dark
  • Reset now also restores font, text size, border, icons and centre logo
  • Fixed a console error when the wheel was resized while hidden
  • Pressing Spin no longer scrolls the page when the wheel is already on screen
  • Clicking a button no longer leaves a focus outline behind
  • Entry colour swatches now follow the selected wheel theme

Comment Picker — Complete Overhaul
  • All-new animated spin reel: spins naturally, slows down, then snaps the winner into the center spotlight
  • When picking multiple winners, each winner is revealed one by one with a full animation — not all at once
  • Tick sound plays during the spin with pitch descending as the reel slows, matching the feel of other tools
  • Winner popup shows all selected winners in order after the final reveal, with trophy and numbered badges
  • Download your result as a branded PNG image, or share it directly from the winner popup
  • Smart duplicate removal: the same @username with different comment text now correctly counts as one entry
  • Zen focus mode, full theme support, and a second Pick Winner button in the main view
  • Comments textarea pre-filled with example entries so first-time users know the format instantly
Team Generator — Major Upgrade
  • Skill rating per player: assign a strength level so the balanced split puts the strongest players on different teams
  • Save and reload your player lists and team configurations — no need to re-enter names each time
  • Edit team names directly on the card — the team wheel updates live as you type
  • Zen mode splits teams across both sides of the screen for easy reading with large groups
Download & Share (All Tools)
  • Download your spin result as a PNG image on every spinner and picker page
  • Share results to social media directly from the winner popup on all tools
  • Auto-download on spin: enable the checkbox in settings and the image saves automatically after each spin
Navigation & Discovery
  • Comment Picker, Team Generator, and Random Number Generator added to the More Tools menu in the navigation bar
  • All Tools page now has a dedicated Unique Themed Pickers section highlighting the custom-engine experiences
Themes & Visual Polish
  • High-Contrast theme fully overhauled — text, icons, buttons, and dropdowns all render correctly on black backgrounds
  • Minimal theme redesigned with a clean charcoal and slate palette, clearly distinct from the default blue look
  • Gaming theme recolored with a vivid neon green accent for a distinct esports identity
  • Studio theme updated with a warm amber accent on an ultra-dark background for a professional recording-studio feel
  • All themes now apply consistently across the user dashboard, admin panel, and settings pages
  • Zen mode background now reads the page's own theme color, so it matches each themed picker correctly

  • Fixed the Comment Picker announcing the wrong winner — the entry fully visible in the center box is now always the winner
  • Fixed spinning wheel always landing on the same result due to a non-random starting angle
