How to pick a winner from retweets
List who reposted
On your post, open the reposts view and copy the @username of each account that reposted (retweeted) it.
Paste into the picker
Drop them into the box on the right, one per line. Leave "Extract @usernames" on so each line is reduced to a clean handle.
Set your rules
Choose how many winners you need (1–10). Keep "One chance per person" on so a handle that appears twice in your list is counted once.
Pick the winner

Why not just use a retweet bot?
The old free retweet-picker bots relied on the X API, which is now limited and paid — so most have stopped working or now charge a subscription. Pasting the handles yourself needs none of that, and it gives you something a bot never did: control. You can drop obvious bot and throwaway accounts before the draw instead of letting an automated tool count every repost blindly. A visible reel that scrolls the entrants and stops on one random handle then proves the pick was fair to your whole audience.
Nothing connects to your X account and no permissions are requested, so it is safe for personal accounts, brands, and anyone running a giveaway on behalf of a client.
Running a clean repost-to-win giveaway
State the entry rule
Decide whether a repost alone qualifies, or a repost plus a follow, and build your list to match.
Screen for bots first
Skim the reposters and leave off obvious bot or brand-new throwaway accounts before you paste — a cleaner list means a more credible winner.
Repost and reply combos
If your rules need both, paste only the handles that reposted and replied. For the reply side, use the reply picker.
Draw a backup winner
Set 2–3 winners so you have runners-up ready if the first pick never claims the prize in time.
