What Is the Random Date Picker?
The Random Date Picker is a free random date generator that chooses a fair, cryptographically-random date from any range you set — then tells you the day of the week and how far away it is.
A calendar is a terrible wheel. Nobody wants to spin past 365 tiny slices to land on a day they can't even read. What actually makes picking a date useful is the range and the filters: pick a start and end date, decide which weekdays count, block out the days that don't work — and let the tool return a real date, in context. Instead of a bare number, you get “Saturday, 14 June 2025 — about 11 months away”, ready to copy into an invite, a planner or a group chat.
It's built to be genuinely impartial. Every valid date in your range has an equal chance of being picked, using your browser's cryptographically secure randomness — no quiet bias toward the middle of the range. And because it filters before it picks, the answer is always usable: ask for Saturdays only and you'll only ever get a Saturday; blackout the school holidays and they simply can't come up.

Why Pick a Date at Random?
Choosing a date sounds easy until everyone has an opinion. Endless “how about the 12th? no, the 19th?” threads are really decision fatigue in disguise — every option looks fine, so no option wins.
