Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
1. Overview
Wheel Spin Pro ("we", "us", "the Service") provides free browser-based random selection tools at wheelspinpro.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The short version: the wheels run in your browser, your entries stay on your device unless you save or share them, analytics only run with your consent, and advertising is served by Google in line with its own published policies.
This policy applies to the website, the installable web app (PWA), the embed widgets, and the public API. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Cookie Policy.
2. Data We Collect
Data you actively provide
- Account data — if you register: your email address, a hashed password (we never store plain-text passwords), and an optional display name. Google sign-in shares your Google account email with us.
- Saved content — wheel lists, saved configurations, custom branding, and spin history you choose to save to your account.
- Messages — anything you send through the contact form or by email.
Data collected automatically
- Anonymous usage counters — when a spin completes we record the tool type and a coarse timestamp for aggregate statistics, rate-limited by IP address. Wheel entries themselves are not sent with these counters.
- Technical logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Data that never leaves your device
The items you type into a wheel, dice settings, and theme preferences are processed entirely in your browser. Unless you press a save or share button, they are not transmitted to our servers at all.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Wheel Spin Pro is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its certified ad partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Where required by law, ads are served in non-personalised mode unless you have consented otherwise.
Details of how Google uses data from partner sites are published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Analytics & Consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are useful and where the site needs improvement. Analytics is strictly consent-gated: the GA4 script does not load at all until you accept the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected — the tools work identically either way.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the consent entry in your browser's site data, after which the banner will ask again on your next visit.
6. Accounts & Saved Data
Accounts are optional. When you save lists, wheel configurations, branding, or spin history, that data is stored in our database, associated with your account, and used solely to provide those features back to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising targeting.
Passwords are hashed using the framework's modern password hashing. Google sign-in uses OAuth — we never see your Google password.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account data — kept while your account exists; deleted when you delete your account or on request.
- Server logs — rotated on a short schedule (days to weeks).
- Anonymous spin counters — kept as aggregate statistics; they contain no wheel content.
- Autosave localStorage — lives only in your browser and auto-expires after 30 days.
- Shared wheels — kept so links keep working; deleted on request.
9. Children's Privacy
The tools are safe for general audiences and widely used in classrooms, but accounts are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you may have the right to:
- access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete that data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent (for analytics) at any time;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@wheelspinpro.com. We respond to every verified request.
11. Changes to This Policy
When we change this policy in a meaningful way, we update the effective date at the top of this page and note the change on our changelog. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
12. Contact
