Activity Picker
Your activities
Pick a mood above to load a ready-made set, or type your own here — one per line. The card scratches to reveal a random one from your list.
Stop deciding, start doing
A free afternoon and no idea what to do with it — or four people and four opinions. The Activity Picker settles it. Pick a mood, scratch the lottery card, and it reveals a random thing to do. Every activity has an equal, crypto-random chance, so instead of scrolling and debating, you get an answer and go.
Five moods, one card
| Mood | What you'll get |
|---|---|
| Weekend | Bigger plans — hikes, day trips, markets, museums, a road trip |
| Family | Things to do together, from board games to backyard camping |
| Rainy day | Cosy indoor ideas for when you're stuck inside |
| Bored | Quick solo boredom-busters you can start right now |
| With friends | Group plans, from bowling to a games night |
Switching mood reloads the whole card, and every set is editable — so you can drop in your own bucket list, a set of date ideas or the chores you keep avoiding, and let the card choose.
Why a scratch card?
Genuinely fair
Every pick uses crypto.getRandomValues() — no bias, every activity equally likely. A draw you can trust to be truly random.
The fun is in the reveal
A coin scratches the foil away bit by bit, so the answer is a small surprise — more of a moment than a wheel just stopping.
Breaks a deadlock
When a group can't agree, letting the card decide is the fastest way to stop debating and actually do something.
Your list, your plans
Swap our ideas for your own, up to 30. Keep a running list of things you've been meaning to try and scratch for one.
When a random pick makes sense
A picker is perfect when you're genuinely indifferent between good options, want a nudge to try something new, or just want to break a stalemate. If one plan truly matters more than the rest, do that one — the card is for the times any answer is a good answer.
The right tool for the plan
The Activity Picker is for things to do. For a more specific plan, we have a tool made for it:
